What do you want?
A seemingly simple question…but it doesn’t always bring an easy answer.
Because we don’t always know what we want.
You might feel pressure to have your life mapped out, step by step. To have a clear vision – or a strong intuition that practically shouts the answer aloud whenever you need to make a difficult decision.
But I’m here to tell you, it’s OK to not know.
And if you face a choice that seems impossible to make, I invite you to ask one question:
What am I not getting right now?
Spot the difference?
Instead of forcing yourself to instinctively know the next best step, you flip it around.
What isn’t happening now that would meet your needs?
What feels like it’s lacking, out of sync, or simply not working?
What’s not serving you?
You’re not searching for a solution. You’re simply seeing what’s missing, what hasn’t manifested.
Sometimes we have to see what we don’t want to discover what we do want.
Sit with this question for a while.
Let it marinate in your subconscious.
Go about your day, with this thought kernel simmering away.
Jot it down in your journal.
See what reveals itself.
